It is one of the only Festivals to specialise in producing rarely performed operas by major composers - each opera is staged uniquely for the Buxton audience and the intimate Opera House. Both these Festival are very different as they appeal to different target audience and promote different things,they both hold different amounts of people as one of them only hold a small amount of people whereas the other appeals to many.
